June 25, 2020 marks the 70th anniversary that the Korean War began.
Canada provided military support to the UN operations.
There were 26,791 Canadians that served on land, at sea and in the air during this
Conflict. An additional 7000 served in a peace support during the Korean Armistice
Agreement in July 1953. Canadian casualties were 1558 with 516 killed.
