In a private ceremony recorded today, Comrade Dave Roy officially passed the President Pin to Comrade Dave Tweed.

Today Comrades Holly Tweed and Kent Page drew 10 names from those that renewed their 2022 memberships during the Early Bird campaign. Winners will be contacted in next couple days.

Due to the COVID-19 Public Health restrictions we were unable to host our annual Decoration Day this past June.

On July 4th we held a brief ceremony at the Field of Honour at the Transcona Cemetery.

Please see the attached video of the ceremony as we pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom, for those that have returned and have since passed away and are buried here.

We wanted to mark this occasion despite another difficult year.

Due to Covid-19 we weren’t able to have our Membership Early Bird draw that would normally take place at the New Year’s Day Levee. We had the draw anyway and recorded it for our members. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Originally we were supposed to have a draw to win a beautiful Firepit at the New Year’s Day Levee but with Provincial closures that became impossible. Being committed to the draw we recorded it for everyone to share in the excitement. Congratulations to our Winner!
